Out the door with energy

Tired of talks with 60 slides full of text and dusty theory? Yes, same. I check out at slide 3.

Give me a talk that feels like a party. With real stories, a dose of humour and practical tips you can use straight away.

And me just standing there talking? No way. Much more fun to get to work together. A little game here, a visualisation there… and when the moment is right: hands in the air for “Celebrate good times… come on” 🎵

My goal? That you walk out the door happier. With new insights and, above all: more energy.

Sounds good? Send me a message! (and still prefer those 60 slides? Best not to call me)

You leave with…

🚀More motivation
⚡More energy
😄A smile
😌Less stress
💪Resilience

What does this look like?

I could tell you how much fun we are going to have. But it is way more fun to simply show you. So tada… here is a little taste of one of my talks on happiness, resilience and spotting bright spots.

The happiness training

Oh, and also nice to share: you can book the happiness workshop ‘the psychology of happiness’ through Merijn Ruis.

Because… of course I want to work together with this star. That is simply way more fun than going solo. 💫

Merijn Ruis and Anke van den Bos

Grateful for the happy reactions 🙏

Anke is a burst of positive energy: creative, reliable, sparkling and a real joy to work with. I have booked her for many workshops and every time everyone is wildly enthusiastic.

What made the workshop truly special was the way Anke challenged us to look differently. With clever, playful exercises she even won over the biggest sceptics.

What touched me was the openness: no sugar-coating, but raw honesty about pain and loss. And that is exactly what makes it so hopeful. I learned that bright spots are often small, but make a world of difference.

Anke knew how to move us and get us into action at the same time. Lots of laughter, lovely insights, and we talked about it long afterwards. Exactly what you hope for.

Anke is an enthusiastic speaker with a personal and moving story. What makes her story so powerful is that she translates her experiences into practical insights that are valuable for everyone, whether you are ill or not. As an audience you are actively taken along, and you go home not only inspired, but also a little happier than you arrived.

Lots of lovely reactions during and after Anke's session. Truly connecting and inspiring. Yes! One to keep enjoying. Thank you again!

Frequently asked questions

Isn't a session on workplace happiness too woolly for a business audience?+

No. Anke does not deliver a forced happiness story, but concrete tips and tools that help without denying the reality of workload. She acknowledges the busyness and cynicism in the room and works from exactly there, with an honest story, humour and practical exercises.

Can Anke handle a critical or cynical group?+

Yes. Her own story (ill for almost half her life due to Pfeiffer and Lyme) gives her the credibility to bring the doubters along too. With playful, clever formats she wins over even the biggest sceptics.

Which talks does Anke give?+

Two signature talks, each as a keynote and as a workshop: ‘From rush to happiness’ (from performance pressure to seeing what is already there) and ‘The power of celebrating’ (why you should celebrate small wins as hard as big milestones). Anke also has the talk ‘Spotting bright spots’ for foundations and communities.

Does Anke do keynotes and workshops?+

Both. A keynote is inspiring and activating for a large group; a workshop lets participants practise with exercises, reflection and conversation. A combination of keynote and workshop is possible too.

What occasions is this suitable for?+

Team days, vitality weeks, anniversaries, organisation gatherings, conferences, inspiration days and company events. ‘The power of celebrating’ is ideal as a festive closing of an anniversary or team day.

Does Anke also speak for foundations, communities or people going through a hard time?+

Yes. Alongside her business talks, Anke has the talk ‘Spotting bright spots’, especially for foundations, municipalities, communities and vulnerable audiences. It is hopeful, honest and accessible, and the fee is tailored to the organisation's budget.

Can a talk be online?+

Yes. ‘Spotting bright spots’ can be given both on location and fully online (30 to 90 minutes, usually an hour). The online version is deliberate, so that people who cannot travel to a venue due to chronic illness can still take part.

Does Anke offer a tailored session?+

Yes. Through a short intake conversation, Anke tailors the story, the examples and the formats to your audience, theme and goal, so it connects with what is going on in your organisation.

Where does Anke perform, and what does it cost?+

Anke speaks throughout the Netherlands. The price is on request, tailored to your type of event, the format and the group. Fill in the request form and Anke will get back to you within 24 hours.

Can I also book Anke through a speaker agency?+

Yes, Anke can be booked through speaker agency Athenas, among others. Booking directly is possible via the request form on this site.
